This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, a highly:regarded, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for delivering their expertise throughout the engineering and environmental landscapes, delivering major, exciting projects across the UK. They are currently searching for a motivated, experienced Senior Hydrologist, keen to lead a high:performing team and deliver on an extensive range of projects, whilst contributing to Business Development (BD) activities. You will be based near the vibrant, historical city of Exeter.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Hydrologist include:
* Prepare Flood Risk Assessments (FRA), Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and drainage assessment reports
* Oversee aspects of project submissions, including tenders, quality assurance, etc.
* Self:manage your involvement with a range of hydrology projects, ensuring work is completed to the highest of standards, to agreed timescales and budgets
* Produce hydrological and hydraulic calculations
* Liaise with key clients and stakeholders
* Provide leadership to, and mentor, colleagues within the team, guiding them through their professional development
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydrologist include:
* UK Bachelors Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
* Considerable experience of working in a hydrological role, within a UK:based consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
* High:level proficiency in the use of relevant software systems, including FEH, WINFAP, Flood Modeller, HEC:RAS, WinDES, and AutoCAD
* Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organisational skills
* Technically:minded with excellent report:writing skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydrologist include:
* An advanced qualification in a relevant discipline
* Chartered Status with a relevant, recognised Professional Body, or actively pursuing this
* Hold a full, valid UK Driving Licence
