Description
Kendal Crosslands Communities is seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Services to lead our Housekeeping and Laundry operations and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead housekeeping and laundry teams across multiple community areas.
* Oversee cleaning schedules, apartment/room turnovers, and public area maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory standards.
* Conduct quality inspections and respond to resident concerns.
* Manage staffing, training, and team communication.
* Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
* Develop and manage the annual operating and capital budgets.
* Support the Helping Hands Home Care Program.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Services Management.
* Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards in long‑term care or willingness to learn.
* Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
