Overview of role
This role is for a highly ambitious and successful Sustainability Consultancy in the Built Environment sector.
We are seeking a team member for our Green Certification Team to deliver projects focusing on refurbishment and fit-outs. Each team member acts as a "Project Coordinator," managing multiple deliverables either independently or with the wider team.
Role responsibilities and requirements
* Conduct BREEAM, SKA, Well / Fitwell assessments on fit-out projects and refurbishments.
* Implement Net Zero, LCA, and ESG objectives in new build and existing buildings.
* Manage projects effectively.
* Develop and maintain client relationships, including investors, building managers, and contractors.
* Lead workshops, training sessions, and presentations.
* Contribute to achieving financial and commercial objectives.
* Engage in research and analysis activities.
Key skills and qualities needed
* Licensed BREEAM and/or SKA Assessor.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in BREEAM consultancy.
* Degree qualifications (MSc or BSc preferred).
* Experience with sustainability certification schemes such as BREEAM, WELL, SKA, Fitwel, LEED.
* Experience working on fast-paced fit-out projects.
* Ability to work closely with contractors within tight schedules.
* Strong project management skills, capable of coordinating multiple deliverables.
* Good understanding of real estate drivers and their relation to sustainability.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of discussing topics like Net Zero, operational energy, Circularity, WLC.
* Strong research and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail and meticulous assessment approach.
* Knowledge of Net Zero Carbon, NABERS, and ESG objectives.
* Experience with planning submissions, especially aligning with GLA requirements.
