Location: These roles could be based in our Birmingham offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role
We are currently recruiting for Business Finance Analysts to join our Finance Operations team to assist in providing professional accountancy and/or finance analysis services by executing specific and regular finance processes to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory, reputational, and commercial requirements.
You Will Be Responsible For
* Supporting the ongoing delivery of robust, effective, and efficient operational finance processes and controls.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and processes and maintaining evidence/audit trail as required.
* Completing specific standard accountancy and/or analytical functions, including producing financial reports (performance, TBs, controls, OSP oversight), providing data analysis, statutory reporting, etc.
* Undertaking analysis of various business data and reports to assist managers in assessing the commercial viability and tax efficiency of proposed business strategies.

* Experience working in an accounting team within financial services with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
* Strong Excel skills.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills.
* Proactive, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
* Qualified or part-qualified accountancy qualification is advantageous.
