Year 6 Teacher - Mainstream / Additional Needs Location: Rochdale (OL11) Pay: £140 - £240 per day Start: ASAP / Ongoing This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the final year of primary school, supporting academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and developing confidence and independence. Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality teaching across the Year 6 curriculum Planning and differentiating lessons to meet diverse learning needs Supporting pupils with behaviour, focus and emotional regulation Implementing strategies for pupils with additional or complex needs Preparing pupils for transition to secondary school Monitoring progress and providing feedback to pupils and leadership Maintaining a positive, safe and structured classroom environment The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience teaching Year 6, ideally with pupils with additional needs Be confident managing a class with diverse behavioural and learning requirements Be adaptable, resilient and able to maintain high expectations Have knowledge of SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD or learning difficulties (desirable) Be committed to helping pupils reach their academic potential and develop life skills What's on Offer: Competitive daily pay of £140 - £240, based on experience Supportive, inclusive and collaborative school environment Opportunity to make a lasting impact in a crucial stage of pupils' education If you are a passionate and experienced Year 6 Teacher who thrives supporting pupils with differing needs and preparing them for their next stage of education, we would love to hear from you.
