Chef Manager – Portsmouth
We are hiring a Chef Manager for our Portsmouth location. This role is term-time only, involves no weekends, offers flexibility, and pays £13.52 per hour for 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday).
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
* Ensure that the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.
* Enhance Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service with the client and customers, exceeding expectations.
* Manage the day-to-day running of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
* Act as the main point of contact for our client in the school, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
* Communicate regularly with the line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets and ensure they are achieved.
* Support and train teams, lead from the front to ensure all training is completed and performance is managed.
Qualifications
* Cooking experience is essential.
* Experience with food hygiene and health and safety.
