TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a growing firm of chartered accountants in Chatham, Kent.
Our client is a friendly and expanding accountancy practice with a high staff retention rate and a great work-life balance. They are open to both full-time and part-time applicants.
This role is ideal for an experienced and technically skilled Payroll Administrator or Payroll Supervisor. The successful candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of payroll clients with support from a part-time payroll administrator. The role also involves handling CIS returns.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing multiple payrolls for various clients.
* Supporting processes related to payroll and benefits.
* Handling queries on tax, benefits, salary, and allowances.
* Managing P11D’s, Annual Returns, and CIS Returns.
* Processing P60s, P45s, start letters, and induction documentation.
* Knowledge of statutory pay claims and processes.
* Contributing to the growth of the firm’s payroll services.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in managing payroll for a diverse client base.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proactive problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage your workload.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll, preferably within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary range: £30,000 - £40,000, negotiable depending on experience.
