We’ve partnered with a world leading manufacturer in search of an Account Manager to join their close-knit team, based near Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
This is a newly created role, due to continued business growth. They manufacture niche products used in critical applications and have built a first class reputation for quality, innovation and long-term customer partnerships.
It’s a varied, people-focused role where you’ll build relationships with customers and work closely with internal teams to ensure a high level of service.

About you:
* You have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in account management or sales, ideally within textiles, or a manufacturing environment
* You’re a natural people person; you’ll be confident dealing with senior professionals to develop business
* Self-motivated, driven and comfortable working autonomously
* Commercially aware, you’re able to identify opportunities to grow accounts
* You’re a go-getter, with a proactive, hunter mentality
About the Role:
* Working alongside the Key Account Sales Manager, you’ll help manage and develop key customer accounts
* You’ll identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
* Staying ahead of market trends, proactively developing new business opportunities
* Coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met to the highest standards
* Comfortable in handling customer queries and maintaining high service levels
* Attending customer meetings and recording activity in the CRM system
* Happy to travel within the UK and occasionally Europe, as and when required
