Registered Manager Residential Childrens Home
Location: S80 (Approximately 25 minutes from Sheffield, 40 minutes from Nottingham)
Salary: £40,000£50,000 per annum (Up to 60K with bonus structure also)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to lead a brand-new single occupancy childrens home. This is a pivotal role requiring a compassionate, resilient, and forward-thinking individual to help take the home through Ofsted registration and inspection.
This is your chance to make a real impact by shaping a home from the ground up and leading a committed team to provide high-quality, trauma-informed care for a young person with complex needs.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead, develop and inspire a dedicated staff team
Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards
Drive high-quality care planning and implementation
Manage home operations, budgets and resources effectively
Build strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
Maintain robust safeguarding and compliance frameworks
Support staff through supervision, development and performance reviews
What Were Looking For
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Proven experience in a childrens residential setting
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
Demonstrated success achieving at least Good in Ofsted inspections
A therapeutic, child-centred and trauma-informed approach
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
