Trade Operative : Plumber
Kingsmead Office, London, E9 : covering the London region
GBP 37,386 : GBP 39,354 per year
40 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced Trade Operative : Plumber to join our team based in London. You will work on properties across the region in both new and old stock, ideally with skills in some of the following disciplines:: plastering, tiling and painting. The role will occasionally involve lone working with opportunities to work with the wider team as and when required. With a company van and tools included the role will cover sites across the London area.
The role of Trade Operative will include:

Carrying out all types of joinery repairs from replacing a door to lifting and replacing floors, fitting kitchen units and fitting doors and windows

Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocking these when needed
:
Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed

Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Skills and experiences:

To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject, Plumbing

Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation

Good communication and customer care skills
:
Working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
:
This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

Role salary is GBP 36,353 with an additional policy allowance of GBP 1,032 per annum (rising to GBP 38,267 with an additional policy allowance of GBP 1,086 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
