About The Role

We are looking to recruit 1.5 CATEC Support Officers, office based working at our MEAP Offices Phillips Park Road, Beswick, Manchester M11 3FU.

CATEC is an extremely busy, fast paced team. As a service we monitor and respond to activations from Technology Enabled Care Devices in citizen's homes across the city 24 hours a day 365 days a year.


The main duties of the Support Officer role:

* Learn all aspects of Technology Enabled Care including the delivery model and the devices included in Manchester's offer. Also undertake the monitoring of devices such as GPS trackers following procedures
* Use initiative and established procedures to resolve incoming queries as first point of contact within agreed timescales
* Be involved in projects and collaborative working with stakeholders, colleagues and relevant parties testing new technology
* Work on multiple systems, platforms and portals including Evo which is our Digital Call Monitoring Platform
* Liaise with professionals and families to arrange the installation of Technology Enabled Care including social workers, other professionals and hospital discharge teams

About the Candidate

The candidate we are looking for will be:

* Enthusiastic and keen to learn
* Be a team player and have excellent organisational and communication skills
* Attention to detail is key, be able to prioritise your work, manage your time and be able to adhere to strict deadlines and follow procedures
* Accurate record keeping is essential
* Have experience of working with Microsoft packages in particular Excel
