Our client, a growing accountancy practice that provides a broad range of accounting and business support services is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper / Management Accounts candidate to join their team. The ideal individual will have strong interpersonal skills and will work well in a small friendly team environment. An increased salary will be considered if candidates have had previous management account experience within a practice environment. * Up to £37,000 depending on experience * Working hours Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week * Hybrid working after training period (3 days office / 2 days from home) * 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (increases by 1 day every year) * CPD * Gym membership * Free parking Duties and responsibilities: * Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software * Reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions * Making supplier and payroll payments * VAT returns * Bookkeeping duties * Develop working relationships with clients * Take on additional projects / responsibilities as directed * Additional duties of management accounts for those experienced within this area Skills and experience required: * ACCA / CIMA / QBE or studying AAT * Understanding of Xero & Dext desirable and Microsoft Excel * Previous experience of working within an accountancy practice working on multiple clients * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Ability to work effectively within a team environment * Key attention to detail
