Overview
Team Leader role within Witherslack Group, working in our Children’s Homes to support young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. You’ll help ensure the home runs smoothly, support the staff team, and be prepared to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers. The role is rewarding and involves building positive relationships with young people and modelling compassionate leadership.
Responsibilities

* Ensure the home operates to high standards and support the staff team
* Be prepared to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers
* Relate to and build relationships with young people; demonstrate compassion, emotional resilience and supportive leadership
Benefits
* Base salary: £35,400 - £42,664
* Sleep-ins: up to 3 per month, paid at £80 each (approx. £2,880 per year)

Requirements
* A ‘can do’ attitude; team player who helps others
* Honesty and empathy in working with young people and colleagues
* Resilience to deal with challenging situations
* Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
* Level 3 Children’s Residential Care qualification

You will join the Care Academy—4 weeks of off-the-job training with experienced WG professionals to prepare you to support our young people.
