We are looking for a Senior Head Chef to join our team in London.
* Salary: £57,000 - £60,000 per annum
* Working pattern: 40 hours per week, (Monday-Friday) - 6.30/6.45am - 3/3.30pm
* Location: LondonEC2M 4UJ
Key responsibilities:
* Overall management of the kitchen operation reporting into the Executive Chef and working closely with the Chef Director
* Manage 6 Sous Chefs and wider kitchen team of 23
* To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
* To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
* To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
* To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers
* Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard
* Provide feedback and coaching on performance
* To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene training
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience managing a large team in a fast paced environment providing fresh food daily
* Passion for providing creative, fresh food menus daily, aware of current food trends in London
* Previous experience in contract catering would be advantageous
