A fantastic opportunity has arisen within PAM Occupational Health Solutions for an Occupational Health Technician. This role is for a dynamic individual with experience in Health Surveillance who is looking to develop their career in a friendly team that will provide ongoing support.
Locations: Fife, Stirling, Tayside, Perth
You will be expected to contribute to the Occupational Health Screening division’s success, working closely with regional colleagues, other clinicians, and client services teams to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and quality occupational health services.
The successful candidate will support and deliver occupational health services across various contracts, including construction and food industry, providing high-quality health screening services and fostering strong relationships with employees and managers.
Travel is a key part of the role as it is peripatetic; willingness to travel is essential, although PAM aims to minimize this where possible.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Deliver health screening to clients, including audiometry, spirometry, and hand-arm vibration (Tier 3 desirable).
* Promote healthy living and manage client communication effectively.
* Be highly organized, process-driven, and results-oriented.
* Liaise with other departments to achieve results and ensure KPI targets are met.
* Maintain confidentiality, ensure documentation is uploaded correctly to OHIO, and store data in line with data protection principles.
* Ensure all medical equipment is calibrated and safety tested.
* Support new team members and collaborate with the OH team.
* Ensure compliance with company standards including ISO 9001, 27001, SEQOHS, RISQS, and IIP.
* Provide excellent customer service and monitor service delivery consistency.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Sports Science qualification or similar; experience as an Occupational Health Technician is preferable but not essential.
* Competent in client communication, highly organized, and results-focused.
* Good IT literacy and effective communication skills.
* Ability to prepare and deliver wellbeing content.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
* Understanding of confidentiality and good report writing skills.
