We’re working with a top-tier international law firm that’s looking to hire a Derivatives & Structured Products Associate into its highly regarded Debt Capital Markets team in London.
This is a standout opportunity to join a globally integrated practice known for handling complex, high-value structured finance and derivatives transactions for leading financial institutions and corporates worldwide.
The Opportunity
You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing team advising on a wide range of sophisticated matters across structured finance and derivatives. The role offers genuine exposure to complex cross-border work, strong partner access, and excellent long-term development prospects.

Key Areas of Work
You’ll be involved in advising on:
* On- and off-balance sheet structured products programmes
* Securitised and OTC derivatives
* Hedging arrangements linked to structured finance transactions
* Structured repo and securities lending transactions
* Repackagings
* Regulatory advice relating to the above
What They’re Looking For
Technical Strength
* Strong grounding in derivatives and structured products work
* A proactive approach to developing technical expertise
* Awareness of legal and regulatory developments impacting the market
Collaborative Mindset
* Motivated, reliable and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident working both independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and seeing matters through to completion
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Commercial & Client-Focused
* Commercially aware with a strong understanding of client drivers
* Able to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
* Interested in developing sector knowledge and contributing to business development
* Cost-conscious and thoughtful in approach to matter management
Working Arrangements
* 35-hour working week (9:30am–5:30pm, with flexibility where required)
* Hybrid working model – up to 40% remote, 60% office-based
* Agile and flexible working encouraged
