Production Engineer
The Production Engineer supports a precision manufacturing operation working to ISO 9001 standards. The role focuses on improving manufacturing methods, maintaining CNC programs and tooling, and driving efficiency across the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities

Develop manufacturing methods and set standard operation times.
*
Program and optimise CNC machines using CAM, producing set-up sheets and tooling lists.
*
Support the introduction of new machinery and processes into production.
*
Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve productivity.
*
Evaluate and justify new equipment and tooling investments.
*
Work with subcontract suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery.
*
Provide technical support and training to operators and apprentices.
*
Contribute to continuous improvement projects across manufacturing.
Skills & Experience
*
Experience working to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
*
Strong knowledge of machining processes including turning, milling, and drilling.
*
Competent in CNC programming using CAM software.
*
Proven experience in process planning and production improvement.
*
Well organised, detail-focused, and able to work to tight deadlines.
*
Proactive, flexible, and a strong team player.
Qualifications

HND in Production Engineering (essential)
