Activities Coordinator Activities - Gowrie House Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.71 Per Hour Shift type: Days Contracted hours: 24 Our care home, located in the heart of Kirkcaldy, a coastal town on the Forth Estuary in East Central Scotland, offers comprehensive Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care, providing a supportive and caring environment for 60-residents. Activities Coordinator £12.71 per hour 24 hours per week Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract Role Overview As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the daily lives of residents by creating a varied and engaging programme of activities. Your focus will be on promoting wellbeing, encouraging social interaction and supporting residents to maintain their interests and independence. You will plan and deliver both group and one to one activities, tailored to residents’ individual preferences and care needs, including those living with dementia and nursing needs. You will build strong relationships with residents and colleagues, helping to create a positive, lively and inclusive environment within the home. Your role will also include maintaining activity records, supporting communication with families and contributing to a warm and homely atmosphere where residents feel valued and engaged.
