Tyre Science Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and driven Tyre Science Engineer to contribute to the development and application of advanced simulation tools focused on tyre modelling and vehicle performance analysis. Based in Banbury, UK, this position will support both factory-based and limited trackside operations, collaborating closely with engineering teams across design, electronics, and vehicle dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and continuously improve physical and empirical tyre models.
2. Lead correlation efforts between models and real-world data from rig and track testing.
3. Build tools for analysis of tyre behaviour across simulations (lap sim, DIL, HIL) and real events.
4. Develop infrastructure to process, analyse, and visualise tyre data effectively.
5. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date tyre parameter database for use across performance tools.
6. Support race and test events from the factory and on-site as needed, providing timely tyre performance insights.
7. Contribute to simulation-led event preparation and reporting, including session debriefs.
