This includes improved access to public Wi-Fi for residents. Digital Inclusion – Identifying digitally excluded residents and providing access to devices and digital skills to enable all residents across Brent to safely participate in the digital world. Data and Smart Devices – Using our data to better understand our customers and improve the way we deliver services by making quick and robust decisions for residents. Digital Workplace - Ensuring staff have access to technology that will enable them to work efficiently and to have the digital skills to effectively use existing and new technology. We have two fixed term opportunities to work with the Digital Transformation team delivering Brent’s Digital Strategy. The Digital Transformation team is responsible for the delivery of Brent’s Digital Strategy. This includes work streams on Access, Connectivity, Digital inclusion, Data and Smart Devices and developing the borough to be a Digital Place. The post holder will report to Brent’s Digital Programme Manager and will be responsible for leading on various projects and initiatives independently in line with Brent’s Digital Strategy. They will be required to engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the Digital Strategy and management of expectations The Person We are looking for a driven, organised, creative and resilient candidate with a passion for making Brent a digital borough. You must be able to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally. It is important that you are able to identify and raise any issues that may impact the achievement of project objectives. We are looking for someone who has a skillset which could be applied to this type of role, can take the initiative and can work well within a fast paced and friendly team. You will be customer focused and passionate about improving the services offered and delivered to our residents and customers. You will be skilled at building trust and developing collaborative relationships conducive to promoting a positive working culture. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully supporting and delivering improvement projects in a complex multi-partner environment. You will be familiar with a range of best practice change management, service improvement and project management tools and techniques.
