THE OPPORTUNITY: Due to our continuing growth, we are now seeking a Head of RF and Microwave Engineering to lead and deliver our technical mission. Reporting to the VP MPG Europe and as a member of the site leadership team you will provide and drive MPG Europe’s technical direction, architectural oversight, and hands on leadership across all RF and Microwave, product development activities. You’ll also drive our engineering strategy by shaping technical excellence throughout the full product lifecycle, as well as lead, train and mentor the MPG Europe Engineering team to embrace, grow and deliver this, as they develop themselves. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Degree or equivalent qualified with a passion for RF & Microwave Engineering. Leadership experience in engineering management, systems engineering, & engineering governance. Strategic and system thinking with experience in leading and tactical implementation of strategy and improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and agility. Technical excellence including: o Senior experience in delivering RF/Microwave engineering to meet job role requirements. o Proven competence in RF/Microwave filter design, with hands on experience across multiple filter topologies and architectures. o Expert proficiency in filter synthesis, simulation, modelling, and analysis tools— capable of developing new methods, improving existing approaches, and mentoring engineers in advanced techniques. o Regular contributor to deep technical design reviews, shaping filter definitions and advancing organisational understanding of RF/MW behaviour.
