Company Overview:
VOCA Fire Protection is a fast-growing, family-focused company, and we're looking for a motivated and organised Service Team Leader to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll support our Managing Directors to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our service operations.
As Service Team Leader, you'll be involved in everything from compliance and reporting to team coordination and customer support. You'll play a vital role in maintaining our high standards, supporting industry accreditation requirements, and helping our engineers and administrators deliver excellent service every day.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support & Compliance:
* Approve invoices, engineers' timesheets, annual leave, and overtime, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Collate and report on Service, Reactive, Small Works, and False Alarm statistics for NSI and internal auditing.
* Prepare for and deliver NSI requirements to maintain accreditation standards.
* Ensure internal processes and service guides are accurate and up to date.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
* Lead regular meetings with office staff and carry out daily check-ins to manage workloads efficiently.
* Arrange 1-2-1s with service team members, supporting their development and career progression within VOCA.
* Act as a point of contact for escalations, supporting the, Managing Directors, and customers.
* Oversee a team of service administrators and field engineers, ensuring consistent performance and quality delivery.
* Support workload allocation and coordinate subcontractors when required.
Customer Service & Administration
* Provide administrative support to the service team where needed.
* Ensure KPI targets are met for both reactive and planned maintenance.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting service operations. The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven leadership experience.
* Would like to train and progress into more senior tole
* A background in either Administration or Fire & Security Engineering, with the ability to understand both perspectives.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the confidence to support staff and liaise with customers.
* A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
* Experience within the Fire & Security Industry.
* Knowledge of BigChange CRM or similar service management systems.

Working Hours and Benefits:
40 hours per week. Monday to Thursday standard hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.00pm. Due to the nature of this role hours may change to suit business needs. Ideally someone who is flexible to start earlier as our Engineers and Senior Leadership team start from 7am.
