Test Analyst position based in North Oxford. 3 days onsite per week. Salary £40k (DOE). We are a growing SaaS company delivering Mobile App and Web applications and are looking for a Test Analyst to help ensure quality across platforms.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases across Mobile App and Web applications.
* Perform integration testing for Mobile App and Web applications, ensuring tests are executed, results recorded, and evidence stored for sign-off within the agreed framework.
* Carry out release testing tasks as scheduled.
* Estimate testing scope, prioritise tasks, and identify opportunities to automate manual and functional test cases.
* Automate repetitive test scenarios using modern testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Katalon); create and maintain automated test scripts and suites aligned with system updates and product releases.
* Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and validate data integrity through SQL queries.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, UI designers) to clarify requirements, identify risks, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Experience Required
* Strong track record in software testing with a focus on mobile app automation and regression testing.
* Proven experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts for Android and/or iOS applications.
* Hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, or Katalon.
* Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the role of testing within them.
* Proficiency in API testing (Postman or equivalent) and SQL for data validation.
* Experience writing and executing test plans and cases for functional and non-functional testing.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and defect-tracking skills.
