Job Description:
As a Sporting Coordinator, you will be responsible for the operational and sporting coordination of the Junior World Rally Championship (JWRC) and support the organisation and development of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic evolution and excellence of FIA rallying worldwide. You will report to the WRC Category Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Sporting coordination – WRC
o Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (ASNs, organisers, WRC consultants).
o Manage championship registrations and monitor event registrations.
o Oversee accreditation processes.
o Ensure official documents are accurate and compliant.
o Propose improvements to enhance the WRC and JWRC.
2. Event support – JWRC (max 6 events/year)
o Act as FIA Championship Coordinator during JWRC events.
o Assess on-site conditions and services for JWRC competitors.
o Prepare detailed reports post-events.
o Serve as liaison with stakeholders: ASNs, promoters, organisers, competitors, officials.
3. Delegate coordination
o Coordinate communication with FIA delegates and consultants.
4. Reporting
o Collect reports from FIA officials (sporting, safety, media, technical).
o Support governance and regulatory processes.
o Assist in WRC Commission meetings preparation.
o Draft and follow up on sporting regulations.
o Support FIA seminars and officials' summits.
5. Championship calendar management
o Monitor and review calendar applications submitted by ASNs.
6. Communication and website coordination
o Ensure accurate championship information on fia.com.
o Update standings and classifications.
Profile:
* University degree in Sports Management or related field.
* Strong rallying knowledge is essential.
* Experience as a co-driver, team coordinator, or event organiser is a plus.
* Familiarity with FIA regulations.
* Understanding legal and governance frameworks is a plus.
* Fluency in English, plus French or Spanish.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive, collaborative, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
