MGF is pleased to recruit a "lifting by design" Technical Salesperson. This role focuses on solving customers' heavy lifting problems using a combination of products and MGF's design services to support the lifting industry in non-standard lift applications. It bridges the gap between off-the-shelf products and bespoke manufacturing, offering key differentiators in the marketplace.
The ideal candidate will have heavy lifting sales experience and knowledge of the mobile crane sector.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver profitable growth by engaging with crane & heavy transport machinery moving companies, design consultants, and tier-one contractors.
* Act as the link between customers and design engineers to provide solutions-based services.
* Use experience in crane and plant machinery movement solutions to develop new business.
* Proactively generate leads through engagement with target customers.
* Support other sales functions and promote our products at trade days.
* Manage appointments, schedules, and meetings effectively.
Customer Service and Operational Responsibilities
* Collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional customer service, understand needs, provide technical assistance, and manage key projects.
* Maintain service levels, resolve queries, and drive revenue through new and existing business.
* Maintain accurate information in CRM, manage KPIs, and use MS Office effectively.
* Adhere to management systems and support depot/company operations.
Core Requirements:
* Experience in lifting equipment and crane rigging scenarios.
* Ability to identify and develop new accounts.
* Knowledge in heavy lifting and mobile cranes.
* Experience reading lift plans and technical drawings.
