RECEPTIONIST
GRADE C SCP 4 (£25,185) FTE • ACTUAL SALARY £8,576.51 • 15 HOURS PER WEEK • TERM TIME PLUS 1 DAY • PERMANENT CONTRACT • REQUIRED ASAP
St James’s is a member of the Bishop Fraser Trust, a C of E Multi Academy Trust established in 2017. This is an exciting time to join us as it provides a great opportunity to work closely with the other four schools in the MAT: Bury C of E High School, Canon Slade School and Bolton St Catherine’s Academy, St Catherines Horwich; sharing good practice and building on our ongoing progress.
Responsibilities
* Providing professional, courteous and customer‑focused reception and back‑office administrative services to all stakeholders, while maintaining appropriate levels of confidentiality.
* Ensuring all visitors are subject to the required safeguarding checks before allowing unrestricted access to the school.
Requirements and Skills
* Be a great team player, friendly and professional.
* Enjoy working as part of a team and communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff.
* Confident in liaising with a variety of staff at all levels.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* A passion for well‑organised administration systems and processes.
* Excellent ICT skills and proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office.
* Demonstrates personal resilience and role models the personal qualities we wish to instill in our young people.
* Ability and willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.
