We're supporting a major UK utilities provider in hiring an experienced Cyber Security Resilience Manager to strengthen their organisation-wide protective security capability. This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping, delivering and embedding a comprehensive protective security strategy across both IT and OT environments.
You'll lead on identity, data and systems security, ensuring robust governance, resilience and compliance aligned to UK cyber regulations and industry frameworks. Working closely with technology, operations, physical security and senior stakeholders, you'll drive a unified approach to cyber resilience, ensuring the organisation is equipped to manage evolving threats.
What you'll be involved in
* Developing and executing the protective security strategy
* Leading CAF (Principal B) accountability
* Enhancing IAM, data security, security architecture & resilient system design
* Overseeing security controls across IT & OT
* Leading incident response planning and analysis
* Driving security awareness across the organisation
* Managing third‑party security risks
* Contributing to governance frameworks and senior reporting
What we're looking for
* Extensive cyber security leadership experience
* Background in Critical National Infrastructure
* Strong technical breadth across identity, data protection, incident management & resilience
* Certifications such as CISSP or GICSP
* Experience with standards such as IEC 62443
* Ability to influence and collaborate in a complex organisation
