Job Description
A Senior Project Leader is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with a Clare based engineering industry client.
Role of this position
1. Act as the senior point of contact for assigned key customers, building strong relationships and ensuring consistent, high quality project delivery.
2. Resolve specification issues, manage all project correspondence, and provide structured, periodic updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
3. Negotiate and coordinate customer requested changes (pricing, delivery, scope) in partnership with Sales and Commercial teams.
4. Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting, proactively addressing risks and variances.
5. Drive commercial discipline and ensure all project decisions align with financial targets.
6. Lead project risk management, identifying issues early and implementing mitigation strategies.
7. Provide leadership, direction, and support to project teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
8. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
9. Extensive experience managing complex engineering or industrial projects.
10. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
11. Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring and guiding project teams.
