CAS also supports adults released from custody in the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders.

The team provides flexible and holistic support to residents with diverse needs. The goal is to help residents find and maintain stable housing at the end of their CAS-2 placement. You will manage a caseload of residents and properties in your area.

* Ensure all Support Plans and Risk Assessments are personalized, inclusive, and person-centered.
* Provide weekly support to residents to engage with their plans and achieve their goals.
* Assist residents in accessing Housing Benefit to prevent rent arrears.
* Manage properties to meet Decent Homes Standards, including reporting repairs and replacing furniture as needed.
* Undertake basic cleaning tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver effective, person-centered Support and Safety Plans.
* Provide weekly support sessions (up to 2 hours per week) to help residents achieve their goals.
* Maintain up-to-date resident records.
* Support Housing Benefit applications.
* Refer residents to specialist support agencies as needed.
* Collaborate with partner agencies such as Probation, Prison Services, Courts, and Police.
* Ensure properties are well-maintained, furnished, and clean.
* Empower residents to identify and achieve their outcomes.
* Develop move-on plans early, exploring realistic housing options.

What We Expect From You:

* Ability to develop person-centered support and move-on plans.
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
* Experience working with vulnerable adults with complex needs.
* Flexibility to travel within your area and cover other patches as needed.
* Familiarity with computer-based packages.

What You Can Expect From Us:

* A supportive team committed to delivering results.
* Flexible community-based work allowing you to plan your workload.
* Opportunities for career development.
