Join Medacs Healthcare as a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor
Are you an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a change from frontline clinical work, but keen to continue using your expertise?
As a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor at Medacs Healthcare, you'll complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) functional assessments to understand how health conditions affect everyday life. This is a non‑hands‑on clinical role centred on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

2. Analyse medical evidence and clinical information
3. Produce accurate, detailed and evidence‑based written reports

5. Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities
6. Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues
7. Attend the assessment centre as required

11. Strong written and verbal communication skills
12. Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
13. Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
Desirable
14. Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
15. Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports
What's on offer
16. Competitive salary with structured pay progression and bonus potential
