What's involved with this role: Temporary Electrician - Multi Trade Reference no: Darlington 6358614945037 Pay Rate: £17.68 per hour PAYE 35-37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours This opening assignment is for 8-9 months City: DARLINGTON Electrician required to carry out periodic testing to tenanted properties. Van stays in depot outside work hours test equipment and ipad provided Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the onsite supervisor Service equipment. Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements. Electrically you will be working on single and three phase systems, fire alarm testing, lighting and power, UPS systems and more electrical duties. Maintain strict compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed. Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements. Escalate issues to Supervisor/Contract Manager immediately. Form part of the out of hours call out rota, attend emergency repair works as required. Liaise with specialist sub-contractors and engineers with other disciplines to ensure the efficient operation of the plant / area without disruption to the client. Skills & Abilities: Fault finding skills on all forms of electrical plant / systems. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
