Business Development Manager
We’re looking for a commercially-driven and proactive Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of Zag Daily and Zag Group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for new mobility alongside media and partnerships to help expand our global client base and revenue streams.
You’ll play a key role in driving new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships and driving sustainable revenue growth across our B2B and B2G audience of thought leaders and decision makers.
Key Responsibilities
* Revenue Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities across content partnerships, industry events and campaigns
* Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, tracking activity and progress
* Client Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with partners, acting as the primary point of contact through regular check-ins and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
* Market Intelligence: Stay close to industry trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to inform outreach and positioning.
* Event Representation: Attend industry events and trade shows to network, generate leads and represent Zag Daily to a global audience
* Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to develop compelling partnership propositions and tailored commercial packages
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in business development, sales or partnerships
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* A genuine interest in sustainable transport, cities and new mobility
* Ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders
* Experience developing proposals and closing deals
* Commercial awareness with a strategic mindset
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines
* Existing network within transport, mobility or travel sectors
* Experience working in a startup or fast-growing business
This position is a UK-based role with opportunity to work from our office in East London on a hybrid basis. You will work closely with the leadership team, with regular collaboration across editorial and marketing functions.
