What you will do on a typical day:
Communicate effectively across departments and with external customers – ensuring smooth operations and strong relationships
* Investigate and resolve transport-related queries and operational issues – acting as the go-to problem solver
* Allocate daily workloads, manage staffing levels and monitor performance – keeping everything on track
* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements – safeguarding standards
* Act as deputy for Transport Supervisors when required – stepping up and gaining leadership experience
What you need to succeed at GXO:
The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with drivers, colleagues and external partners
* Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
* Strong organisational skills, with a proactive approach and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
* A positive, team-focused attitude, with the ability to build strong working relationships
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience within transport or logistics is beneficial but not essential — full training will be provided
