The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support pupils across the primary age range. Responsibilities may include:
* Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
* Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions
* Encouraging pupil confidence, participation and engagement
* Supporting positive classroom behaviour management
* Assisting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
* Helping create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
We Are Looking For Individuals Who:
* Have experience working with children or transferable relevant experience
* Are confident, adaptable and enthusiastic
* Can positively manage classroom behaviour and support student engagement
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Are passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing and development
* Demonstrate initiative, resilience and professionalism
* Have experience supporting children with ALN/SEN — highly desirable
