Profile The ideal candidate will have: A strong background in interior design with 3–4 years’ experience Experience working on private residential, developer, and show home projects Solid FF&E knowledge across a range of budgets Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail Knowledge of fabrics, wallpapers, and suppliers (advantageous) Willingness to travel to sites, warehouses, and sourcing trips Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other 3D modelling software Desirable: Knowledge of residential furniture and lighting sales Familiarity with UK and European brands (training provided if needed) Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience managing projects from concept through to completion. Role Full-time position Immediate start available Key Responsibilities Report directly to the Design Director Support interior design briefs for private clients and show homes Develop and implement design schemes Prepare presentations and mood boards to a high standard Liaise with suppliers and internal teams Prepare pricing, quotations, budgets, and costings Collaborate on show home and larger design projects Conduct site surveys and take measurements Assist with workflow management Attend client meetings and oversee installations Manage on-site fitting teams Support new business development Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Key Requirements Proficient in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks Able to work independently and use initiative Numerically competent with accurate calculation skills Full UK driving licence and access to a car Resilient and able to work under pressure Confident working directly with clients Strong experience with fabrics, including measuring and preparing quotations Minimum 3–4 years’ relevant experience Creative with strong design sensibility Excellent organisational and communication skills Professional, personable, and well-presented Ability to manage junior team members Strong team player with good interpersonal skills Additional Information This role is varied and may require flexibility to support different business needs.
