OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To program, set and manufacture small-batch aerospace components.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Responsible for setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limits,
2. Responsible for setting a variety of CNC and Manual Gear Cutting Machine Tools for operators as and when required,
3. Responsible for manufacturing all components within the agreed timescales and in accordance with the manufacturing plan,
4. Responsible for manufacturing components to the required quality standard,
5. Responsible for ensuring that the Companys requirements for maintaining material traceability are met,
6. Responsible for using a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components after manufacture,
7. Responsible for making sure that product is suitably protected at all times, including for transit,
