Salary: £23,000 - 43,000 per year Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Service desk experience (although not essential) High level of customer service and interpersonal skills Experience of working to tight deadlines Knowledge of Windows operating systems (10, 11) Familiarity with Office and Office 365 Experience with Google apps and AV equipment Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship Responsibilities: Resolve assigned IT helpdesk calls Assist with all channels of communication into the helpdesk (phone, email, web portal) Ensure accurate, up-to-date information is maintained on all support tickets Inform customers on progress of their requests at regular intervals Provide cover for the helpdesk between the hours of 7.30am to 5pm Attend relevant meetings as required Build a good rapport with all helpdesk customers Perform hands-on fixes at desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting Technologies: Hardware Support Office 365 Web Windows More: At Greater Manchester Academies Trust (GMAT), we provide nursery, primary, and secondary education in North Manchester through our academies.
