Reeson Education is working with a well-respected and inclusive primary school in North West London that is looking to recruit a dedicated and reliable Music Specialist seeking and Teaching Assistant - Music Specialist work to join their team from September 2025 and help support children with special needs in addition to delivering music sessions.

Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant - Music Specialist:
1. Support pupils individually and in small groups, helping them to access learning across the curriculum
2. Deliver small group music sessions
3. Have fun and get all the children involved in music to promote complete academic progression.
4. Support other staff organising school concerts.
5. Provide targeted support for children with a range of needs
6. Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
7. Support the school's values around anti-racism, equity and community engagement
The Ideal Candidate for this teaching assistant vacancy:
8. A positive, resilient and caring approach to working with children
9. Have a background in music and the ability to lead small group music lessons on a mian instrument such as piano or guitar
10. A team player who is reliable, enthusiastic and proactive
11. Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
12. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance (or equivalent experience)
13. A commitment to personal and professional growth
