Job Summary
Our Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) based in Kings Lynn is looking for a Clinical Psychologist to provide assessment, formulation, individual and group therapy and supervise trainee psychologists. We value a vibrant multidisciplinary team offering CBT, DBT, CAT, art, and other therapeutic modalities.
Responsibilities
* Assess, formulate and deliver individual and group therapy to service users.
* Provide supervision to trainee clinical psychologists.
* Contribute to service evaluation and training programmes.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and wider professional network.
* Maintain a CPD plan in line with BPS guidance.
Qualifications (Essential)
* Post‑graduate (or equivalent) accredited clinical psychology degree (BPS approved).
* Registered with HCPC or due to be accredited within 12 months.
* Experience working as a qualified Band 7 clinical psychologist.
* Supervisor training or willingness to undertake training to supervise trainee clinical psychologists.
* Evidence of CPD and competent use of psychological assessment and intervention methods.
Qualifications (Desirable)
* Evidence of CPD in specialised psychological therapies (CBT, DBT, CAT, EMDR etc.).
* Experience in an MDT setting and providing psychological contribution to service‑user groups.
* Further qualification in a recognised psychological therapy.
* Knowledge of medical legislation and research methodology.
