This post is recognized by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health as suitable for training and retrospective recognition of this post may be achieved. The post is based at the Neonatal Unit, Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children. The appointee will work closely with colleagues on all sites, and the Trust expects cross-site working.

Role
This advert covers two related posts in Neonatology:
* Junior Clinical Fellow in Neonatology / Neonatal SHO
We are looking for an enthusiastic doctor at FY2 level or above to join the Paediatrics team based at St Helier Hospital as a Trust Neonatal SHO. This is a 6 month role initially, with the possibility of extension. The successful post holder will obtain experience primarily in our Neonatal unit. The post holder will be required to participate on the Junior rota which is 1 in 6 full shift. The successful candidate will have GMC registration with a licence to practise, and a minimum of 2 years post registration experience. Interview Date: TBC. Responsibilities
* Participate on the Junior rota (1 in 6 full shift).
* Gain experience primarily in the Neonatal unit.

* FY2 level or above eligible for the Neonatal SHO role.
