You will take day-to-day responsibilities for providing hands-on, performance-focused costume support for Lyric productions. Why work with us? Essential Criteria Good organisational skills and ability to work to tight production deadlines. IT literacy including use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong communication skills and ability to work with actors and production teams. Ability to work evenings and weekends, including 6-day performance weeks. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Desirable Criteria Demonstrable experience of dressing in a live performance context. Proven laundry and costume maintenance experience for live theatre. Strong hand and machine sewing skills. Ability to carry out costume repairs and basic alterations independently. Full driving licence and access to own transport. Experience working in the costume department of a producing theatre. Familiarity with costume hire processes and paperwork. Experience with stock management or costume store systems. Skills in costume making or pattern-cutting. Basic wig maintenance knowledge.
