We’re delighted to announce a great opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join our Finance Team.
This role involves contributing to general ledger journal entries, month-end close reconciliations, variance analysis, cash management transactions, monthly reporting, and owning the Fixed Asset Ledger. It offers an opportunity for an individual to learn and develop while supporting the team.
We seek someone who has started their career in accounting and finance and is looking to develop their skills while studying towards becoming a fully qualified accountant.
Our ideal candidate will be at the early stages of studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), with recent experience in a finance or accounting setting, and plans to complete their studies. Good IT skills are essential, including Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups) and familiarity with accounting software (such as SAP, SAGE, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Knowledge of general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations is required.
