What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for an organised and proactive individual to take on a key leadership role within our dairy operations.
This position involves dispatching trucks, supervising a team of drivers, and ensuring a seamless dairy collection process. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of compliance and operational excellence.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to high standards in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Work PatternFull-time, permanent role with a regular rotating roster:
* Dayshift and nightshift
* Rotating roster: 2 days on dayshift; 2 nights on nightshift; followed by 4 days off
* Average shifts: 10-12 hours (flexibility is required to suit business and seasonal needs)

* Experience in operations – You’ve been in the transport industry for a while, with hands-on experience in dispatching, scheduling, and leading teams.
* Leadership skills – You’re able to inspire and lead teams, ensuring everyone works together to get the job done in a fast-paced environment.
* Customer focus – You’ll always keep clients happy by ensuring service is efficient, professional, and top-notch.
* Communication – You’re great at talking to people, whether it’s your team, clients, or internal key contacts.
* Transport sector knowledge – You’ve got a solid background in transport and logistics.
* Health and safety – You know how to keep a workplace safe, and you lead by example.
* Financial smarts – You’re comfortable managing budgets and making sure things run efficiently.
* Local knowledge – If you know Canterbury and South Canterbury regions well, that’s a bonus!
