We are currently seeking a Commercial Analyst to join the Divisional Revenue and Customer Proposition Team based in Leeds on a 6-month Fixed Term contract.
The successful candidate will support the Revenue & Customer Proposition team by providing analysis and insights on revenue and customer performance. The role focuses on supporting two major Business Units in Scotland and North & West Yorkshire, emphasizing growth and innovation.
You will play a key role in data-driven commercial decision-making, influencing senior stakeholders, and enhancing performance analysis and growth, contributing to our customer strategy.
What will you be doing?
* Understanding market performance, sales channels, ticket mix, and demographics
* Collaborating with the local Commercial Team to support the Commercial Plan
* Analyzing local trends and advising on proactive interventions using data
* Participating in the development of Commercial App to meet user needs
* Conducting detailed analysis of the U22 Concessions Scheme in Scotland
* Assessing new funding schemes and making localized recommendations
* Understanding concessions agreements for negotiation support
* Performing ad hoc analyses based on business priorities
* Ensuring the relevance of reports requested by external stakeholders
* Working with Finance to ensure accurate revenue allocation and performance reporting
* Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
What are we looking for?
* At least 4 years of experience in an analytical role
* Innovative and inquisitive mindset, capable of questioning norms
* Self-motivated with strong task management skills
* Excellent analytical skills with commercial acumen and the ability to generate actionable insights
* Proficiency in Excel and Power BI
* Strong problem analysis skills, attention to detail, and effective communication
* Resilience and ability to work independently
* Confidence working with senior leaders
