Our client is a well-respected builders merchants with branches across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Yardman & Relief HGV Class 2 Driver at their Mansfield branch in Nottinghamshire. This is a full-time permanent position.

What to expect

You will be responsible of the effective running of the warehouse/yard, ensuring stock is checked, handled and stored correctly, satisfying customer orders by carrying out goods-received and general warehouse/yard duties. In addition, you will be the Class 2 Relief driver, covering holiday and sickness. You'll be loading and unloading, and supporting team members when needed.

* Carrying out appropriate vehicle checks on a routine basis
* Making sure you and your vehicle are always safe and secure
* Keeping your yard clean, tidy and well organised
* Working in the yard and warehouse
* Serving customers
* Supporting your team mates

You don't need to know about the products or the industry as full training will be provided; all you need is to:

1. Have Class 2 (Category C) LGV licence
2. Have a Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
