Front of House and Events Manager - Busy Club House and Function Venue - Honiton Area - £37-£42K DOE
We're looking for an experienced Manager to share our clients vision and promote their busy Clubhouse and facilities. This is a full-time permanent position (40 hours per week).
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of efficient day to day running of the Clubhouse the role being critical in maintaining a welcoming, first-class service experience, seeking to maintain and enhance the clubs reputation. You will work alongside the General Manager in promoting the club as a venue to enhance revenue.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage all aspects of catering events from initial client contact to execution and post event follow up.
Provide excellent service delivery in all aspects of the club house, ensuring daily menus are appropriately delivered.
Create Marketing material for attracting new customers as well as advertising to current membership - by using social media/website and other appropriate forums.
Work alongside the Bar manager to manage and oversee the Clubhouse team organising shifts and rotas ensuring that the appropriate cover is in place.
Work with General Manager to create an event calendar which will be updated annually
Lead the team in the delivery of consistently high service excellence standards.
Assist the Bar Manger and Head Chef with the management and review of supplier agreements and external service providers.
Work closely with the General Manager regarding golfing events, private events and clubhouse functions.
Oversee the operational performance of all club house staff and identify training needs where required.
Drive revenue by promoting the club as a venue, utilising marketing opportunities such as social media promotions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislations, such as Health and Safety.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Ideally you will have at least 3 years working in a similar type role/environment within the hospitality sector, with a proven track record and relevant training certificates.
