Picker Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Depot: LWC Leyland
Main Duties
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the purpose of the picker packer will be to complete tasks which assist the day-to-day running of the delivery operations for the following day, ensuring all customer orders are picked correctly, stacked correctly, and wrapped professionally. The role involves picking from 1500 different products ranging from kegs to packaged beers to wines and spirits. Manual handling is a key element of this role.
Key Skills
* Adhering to good practice within the warehouse
* Responsible for correctly picking orders and placing them in the correct areas for deliveries
* Reporting stock issues to supervisory or stock control team
* Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
* Wearing the correct equipment for your job when on site, such as safety boots, gloves, and high visibility vests
* Maintaining housekeeping standards at all times
* Ensuring that all new stock delivered is put away promptly in the correct bin-bay location, matching the delivery note received
* Assisting with weekly stock audits
* Participating in monthly stock takes during weekends when required
* Adopting a flexible approach to working
* Assisting drivers as a mate when required
Knowledge and Experience
* Ability to prioritize workloads

* Effective communication skills
* Good product knowledge
* Flexi FLT licence is an advantage
