Overview The Skylark Federation would like to appoint a Head of School for Plumpton Primary School. The Federation comprises four schools — Barcombe CE, Hamsey, Iford, Kingston CE and Plumpton Primary Schools — all near Lewes in East Sussex. The Head of School role offers an opportunity for an aspirational leader to play a key role in the leadership of Plumpton Primary School and its community. Applications are invited from experienced teachers and school leaders with the skills and desire to lead others and raise standards in teaching and learning. The role has a teaching responsibility of approximately two days a week. The successful candidate will work with our Executive Head Teacher to translate a clearly articulated vision into action and help lead and manage the school day-to-day, contributing to the strategic direction of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future development of the Federation.
