Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to excellence in hospitality. As a Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared to specifications and presented beautifully for service.
* Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies promptly and efficiently.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in managing a team.
* Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety standards, and hygiene practices.
* Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines.
* Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
