I am seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Field-Based Engineer for our client based Cambridge. This is a field-based position where the majority of work will be carried out in Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk and North London.
Requirements:
1. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
2. Happy to be field based where you are always on the move
3. A full, clean UK driving license.
4. Comfortable working at heights
5. ECS/CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
6. Proven experience in Fire & Security system installations (e.g., intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, or fire alarms) or transferable skills from roles such as Gate Automation Engineer or Electrician.
Responsibilities:
7. Install and maintain Fire & Security systems such as CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire alarms.
8. Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions to clients.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, maintaining high standards of work.
10. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting of systems where required.
11. Collaborate with a knowledgeable team to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
12. Manage your own workload efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Working hours:
13. 40 hour weeks
14. Monday to Friday but there will be weekend work involved which you will receive additional pay for
